Simplify Your Product Photos
with PrepShot

Every tool you need to turn a folder of raw photographs into listing images for Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, eBay and Walmart, resized, whitened, framed and named. Free for 20 photos a run, right in your browser.

No account. No upload. Nothing leaves your computer, because there is no server to send it to.

Keep Your Listing Photos Compliant

Marketplace rules are specific, and two or three of them are commonly missed. PrepShot checks rather than assumes.

See every result at a glance

After a run the sheet shows what came out, not what went in, with the original on hover. Anything that needs checking is filtered into its own tab rather than left for you to scroll for.

Compare before and after

Drag a divider across any photograph to see exactly what changed. The preview runs the real pipeline at reduced scale, so what you see is what you get, not an approximation.

How it works

Pick the job, not the settings

Choose “Amazon listing” and the sizes, background handling and file naming are set together. Every value stays editable, and each preset records the date it was last checked.

Named for bulk upload

Files land in a folder you choose, named from a pattern or your SKU list. Name collisions are caught before the run starts rather than resolved by silently renaming something.

About SKU naming

It Works With No Connection

Load it once and it keeps running offline, processing, presets and licence checks included. Useful on a train, and the reason there is no queue: the only machine involved is yours.

  • 0photos uploaded
  • 0servers involved
  • 6formats read, incl. HEIC
  • 5marketplaces, presets dated

Why Choose PrepShot?

Most of these follow from one architectural decision: the software runs on your computer instead of ours.

Nothing to breach

There is no store of customer photographs to be exposed, because there is no store. Not a policy we could reverse: a consequence of having no server.

No upload wait

Four hundred 24-megapixel photos is a lot of megabytes to send somewhere and get back. Here they never move off the disk.

No per-image fee

Retouching services charge £0.40 to £2 an image. Your own processor costs nothing per image, however many you run.

No queue

Nobody else’s batch is ahead of yours, because there is no shared machine to queue on.

Dated presets

Every preset records which page its values came from and when a human last checked. A preset with no date is a guess.

Verify it yourself

Open your browser’s network inspector and process a batch. You will see the app’s own files and nothing else.

Do You Have a Question?

Is it really free?

The free tier processes 20 photographs per run, indefinitely, with no account and no watermark on your output. Every feature affecting image quality works without paying, so you can find out whether the results suit your products before spending anything.

Do my photos get uploaded?

No. All processing happens inside your browser using your own processor. The application has no server component, so there is nowhere for images to be sent. You can verify this in your browser’s network inspector.

Which marketplaces does it support?

Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, eBay and Walmart ship as presets, each recording the date its values were last checked against that platform’s own documentation. You can edit any of them or add your own.

Will it make my background pure white?

That is the main thing it does. Amazon and Walmart require literally RGB(255,255,255), and PrepShot verifies the corners of the encoded file rather than the buffer before encoding, because the encoded file is what you upload.

Does it handle iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes, including the rotation problem that makes portrait photos arrive sideways. HEIC is treated as a first-class input rather than an afterthought, because it is what an iPhone actually writes.

Does it work offline?

After the first load, completely, including licence checks, which happen on your machine. There is a button that downloads everything your chosen presets need.

Is there anything to install?

No. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Writing files straight into a folder needs Chrome or Edge; everywhere else you get a zip.
