Background removal that happens on your computer. The model comes to your photograph rather than your photograph going to a server.
On your machine, not ours
The segmentation model runs in your browser using your own processor. It is about 62MB, downloaded once from our own domain, and after that it works with no connection at all. Your photographs are never transmitted, because there is nothing to transmit them to.
Batch, not one at a time
Most background removers are built around a single image and a credit counter. This one is built around a folder: drop in forty photographs and every one comes out cut, framed, resized and named for whichever marketplaces you selected.
It checks its own work
A cutout that clipped fine detail looks identical, from the mask alone, to a cutout that did not. PrepShot compares the cutout edge against the photograph underneath it and flags the ones where detail runs across the boundary, which is what happens to hair, fur and lace.
And you can fix it
Flagged cutouts open in a brush view against a neutral grey field, so a pale fringe or a hole is visible rather than hidden against white. Grow and shrink the whole cutout by a pixel, or paint the edge by hand.
